The Meditation Center (TMC) is pleased to host this year’s Congress offering all participants an opportunity to experience the "Song of Silence."

From July 18 to August 1, 2009, Swami Veda Bharati will bring his Yoga Academy to the University of St Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota to lead the 2009 Himalayan Yoga Tradition Congress.

Learn from Swami Veda, inspired and loving teacher, prolific author and poet known for his ability to guide audiences to calm states of meditative silence.

Join Swamiji, his acclaimed faculty, and Russill Paul, Yoga of Sound master and recording artist, at the 2009 Himalayan Yoga Tradition Congress.

Accommodation Details

Where:  University of St. Thomas - St. Paul Campus
2115 Summit Ave., St. Paul, Minnesota
 
Accomodations:  Morrison Hall on the St. Thomas Campus.
All rooms are arranged in pods that consist of four single rooms with a common sitting area and shared bathroom. (two showers)
There is also a small kitchen area for each pod with refrigerator,sink and microwave .

Program:  We will be guided by the light of Swami Veda who will lead daily meditations as his schedule allows.
Daily Hatha Yoga sessions will help you relax into silence.  There will also be an evening and optional lecture.
There is a Misissippi river walk and a lovely commons area for
