In February 2007, Swami Veda Bharati initiated our Guru Family into a three-year practice of the Ityukta mantra for the purpose of creating a Mindfield of Community – a Sangha. “With a stable mind, you can stabilize all external circumstances. A mindfield thus stabilized is called an organization or a sangha.” Sanghe shakti kalau yuge
From Feb 1-14, 2010 The final offerings of the Ityukta mantra were given during a spiritual festival in Rishikesh India. Now it is time again to move forward with a new mantra given to us all by Swami Veda Bharati to stabalize the mindfield.
New Mantra Practice
The mantra for the next three years is both of the sections [A] and [B] done together, one after the other. These two parts together count as "one" repetition. See the "Sankalpa" section on the ahymsin website to decide how many repetitions to practice each day. Note the "pronunciation guide" is to be followed (3rd part) for the Gayatri section. The pronunciation spelling of "bhoor" (final "R") is correct, due to rules of Sanskrit grammar. (I.E. it's not a typo).
Audio Files You can order a CD of the above pronunciation. The CD has comments about the previous 3 years of practice as well as some additional instructions. You can also download the two tracks of the CD
There is a video of Swami Veda Bharari's introduction to the Sangha for the new practice, available on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjcQaEuRpug
